Title: Bonnie's Pinapple-Upside Down Cake
Categories: Cake Dessert Fruit
Yield: 4 Servings

  Regular white cake mix
1cn(large) pineapple rings
  Brown sugar
  Butter
  Pam
  Marscino cherries

Here is another easy cake recipe that I have made up, sort of. I take a regular white cake mix, a large can of pineapple rings, brown sugar and butter. Anyway, I add the pineapple liquid to the cake mix as part of the liquid called for in the directions. For example , if the mix calls for 1-1/4 cups water I fill my cup with the pineapple juice and add water to equal 1-1/4 cups. Anyway, spray pan well with pam, add about 1/4 to 1/2 cup butter. Melted. Add about 1/2 cup brown sugar. Lay the pineapple slices on top. I also put marscino cherries in the center of the rings but this is optional. Pour the cake mix [batter?] over the top and bake as directed on box. It is really simple and quick to make. By the way, the butter and brown sugar proportions can be varied according to taste.
